CHPD K9 Division Donation, selected in increments of $25.00.
The CHPD K9 Division is a growing and active division of the Charlestown Police Department. Existing since the early 1980’s, the department has utilitzed police trained canine partners as a way of promoting the department’s mission statement; especially when it comes to detecting illegal narcotics, searching for people and articles, as well as community policing. The department currently deploys two fully trained and certified police canines and strives to add a third. The department budget supports the functions, training and equipment needed; however local donations have greatly increased growth in the past, with a very impactful return to the community as a whole. Thanks for the support of so many in the past, present and future.
